Summary: "Upset Stomach"

I was never able to reap any of the touted benefits from this product as it upset my stomach and digestive tract in general. I tried taking it with food and without food, but the results were the same.... I would not recommend this for anyone that has the least sensitive stomach.

Summary: "Comprehensive vitamin softgel tablet with fine ingredients"

Easy help for sinusitis and joint improvement is touted-I think the individual will decide.

These softgels are easy to swallow. The size is not too large. Several people have commented about smell, but it is not that strong. No after taste , go down easily, no upset stomach. Take with a meal.

These cost quite a bit more perhaps, but they are all organic, and probably easier to digest (which means you'll absorb more).

Here's some interesting background:

"The New Chapter Supercritical Antioxidant softgels are a healthy supplement, made with all natural ingredients (Tumeric: Excellent anti-inflammatory; Green Tea: Helps lower unhealthy cholesterol; Clove: helps lower yeast, an antifungal, antimicrbial, and helps digestion; Ginger: aids in digestion, relieves muscular pain, helps with nausea; Parsley: natural diruetic, helps with anemia and balances hormones; Peppermint: helps reduce indigestion, bowel disruptions/spasms, respiratory challenges and fever; Rosemary: helps improve memory, headache relief, and helps prevent cancer."

Number One Rule in Medicine: Do No Harm! and these do not appear to be harmful and may be quite beneficial.

Summary: "well packaged"

These vitamins are well packaged and seem to be of high quality. It's difficult to know if they have any direct affect on health, as with most vitamins, but they seem good. There is just a slight ginger after-taste that occurs, but nothing objectionable. Easy to swallow even though they are on the larger size. Give them a try.

Summary: "The best of the Antioxidant pills"

I would love to say this is some miracle herb of antioxidants with great power, but to be honest I didn't notice a thing, a dent, or any change from before I took it, while I took it or after I took it. Just being honest, don't know if anyone else has noticed a change in their well being with this herb. However, I suppose if you're set on taking some antioxidant herbs for whatever reason, the New Chapter series is allegedly the most potent of all brands, so this would be the one to test with.

Summary: "a Solid Antioxidant supplement"

In general I am partial to products from New Chapter. They adhere to a philosophy that I share: whole foods are the best way to get nutrients, therefore supplements should be made from whole foods and herbs. Looking at my medicine cabinet I realize that I regularly take several supplements from this company, among them Zyflamed and Cinnamon Force. And having tried their antioxidant, I think it too will become a regular mainstay of my supplement regimen. looking at the ingredients, there's a hefty amount of turmeric and green tea, followed by smaller amounts of clovese, ginger, parsley, peppermint and rosemary. As most folks know by now, all of these substances are purported to contain antioxidants in abundance. I find it convenient to get these various nutrients from one source.

As far as feeling differently from taking this supplement goes, I find that to be entirely subjective and impossible to quantify. Nevertheless I would recommend this product for the integrity of the manufacturer and the quality and type of ingredients contained therein.
